Description

Duties
- plan daily work schedule and routing the drivers
- must able to use and good experience in load bidding platforms and other rates negotiations.

Develop and implement transportation plans to optimise efficiency and meet customer requirements
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Ensure that the performance of drivers is effectively managed and excellence is recognised
Manage driver's hours WTD and regulation when planning routes to maximise the fleet capacity and vehicle scheduling.
Develop a solid understanding of logistics best practices and current industry trends.
Monitor transportation activities, including tracking shipments, resolving issues, Pods and providing status updates
Analyse transportation data to identify trends, improve processes, and reduce costs
Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to negotiate rates and contracts
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities on daily basis.

- working hrs 0700Am to 0500pm

Qualifications:

Transport planning experience
Strong knowledge of tachograph rules and WTD
Must be able to work in fastpaced environment
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and route optimisation software
Proficient IT skills includes excel, word, outlook
Good Geographical knowledge of Uk & Ireland
Excellent problemsolving skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
