Overview


Kinetic + Ltd creates industry leading software for the sport and leisure sector, providing solutions to local authorities, leisure operators and activity providers across the UK and Europe.

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Technical Support Officer to join our team in Manchester.


You will be responsible for providing daily comprehensive technical and administrative support to customers and end-users, and be involved in day-to-day operations including testing, diagnosing potential technical issues, and supporting the daily use of the system.


Main Accountabilities

  • Ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
  • Carry out testing and provide fault investigation for existing and new features
  • Consult with customers, your colleagues, commercial partners and the development team on a daily basis
  • Maintain high professional standards at all times.

Job Specification

  • Provide flexible and responsive technical support for customers
  • Be the first point of contact when dealing with customer enquiries or service requests
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely customer feedback, following up with customers to ensure any queries are answered and/or issues are resolved
  • Liaise with customers and the technical development team to troubleshoot and resolve any potential issues, misunderstandings or faults
  • Support the roll out and monitoring of new features from start to finish including testing and feedback pre/post release as well as technical support for customers post release
  • Provide support in the form of procedural documentation and be responsible for keeping these updated

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Attention to detail with good problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems competently and confidently
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively with enthusiasm and a cando attitude
  • Previous experience in a support role is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience working within the sport and leisure sector is desirable but not essential
