An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Operative to undertake goods receipt and general warehouse duties. As part of a developing and fast paced environment the role will create a career path towards warehouse management. Experience with SAGE 200 will be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Ensuring all goods are received in good condition, logged into the SAGE 200 system and

stored correctly (Manual Handling).

• Carrying out inspection of goods received to drawing and written speciifcations.
• Working with the Operations Director to reorganise the warehouse, create locations and record in the system.
• Carry out stock counts as required and mainatin records.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy (free from clutter)
• Determine crate sizes for finished goods and place purchase orders with approved suppiers.
• Generate and place purchase orders for consumable components with approved suppliers.
• Liaise with Despatch department to arrange despatches from haydock site.
• Either already holds a FLT license or is prepared to obtain one.
• Other duties as requested by the Operations Director

Salary:
£22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• St Helens: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

- warehousing: 3 years (required)
