    Description

    The Diocese of Salisbury is a leading institution in the preservation and transformation of historic buildings into thriving community hubs.

    We are seeking a skilled Trust Funding Advisor to partner with parish churches, empower them to raise capital funds for their buildings, and ensure long-term financial sustainability.

    This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with parish leaders, inspiring and supporting fundraising efforts, and fostering a culture of giving across our communities.

    You will collaborate with trusted partners and funders, developing proposals that align with our mission, and ensuring each church can preserve its legacy while enriching its local community.

    This is a true partnership with our parishes, where you will be joining a team committed to proactive heritage preservation and making a real difference across the Diocese.

    To succeed in this role, you will need a blend of trust funding expertise, strategic insight, and a passion for heritage preservation.

    We are looking for a candidate with:

    • A proven track record in securing and building trust funding pipelines for heritage sites and communities.
    • The ability to inspire and empower Church leaders and communities in achieving financial sustainability.
    • A strategic approach to identifying new opportunities in a shifting heritage funding landscape.
    • Experience with project delivery and donor reporting.
    • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

    The estimated salary for this position is c.£35,000 to £44,000 (pro rata for 4 days), offering flexibility in home and working hours.
