Job Description:


The Sales Controller's primary responsibility is managing the rebate contract renewal process and providing oversight over the accounting and payment processes.

They will also provide timely and accurate information to assist in commercial and operational strategic decision making. Some travel will be required. You will have good analytical and communication skills and be able to adapt in a fast moving environment.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:


  • Annual review of all global rebate contracts, assessment of commercial viability and ensuring contracts are renewed on time
  • Work with sales teams to explore opportunities to simplify contracts and reduce risks
  • Conduct risk analysis for all agreements and ensure all approvals in line with corporate guidelines
  • Provide oversight to the accounting and payment process, working with tax and local finance teams to ensure accuracy of accruals and minimize prior period adjustments
  • Support annual AOP and strat plan process
  • Support sales teams with profitability analysis for material programs or RFPs
  • Support month and quarter end global reporting process
  • Providing both regular and ad hoc reports to both functional directors and business unit general/finance managers.
  • Liaising with wider commercial finance teams in sourcing regions and centralised functions

Qualifications:


  • A strong academic record with a degree (Accounting/Finance preferable but not essential)
  • Experience in an analytical or managerial commercial finance role
  • Well organized
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Good communicator and strong interpersonal skills
  • Commercially minded
  • Analytical and numerate
  • High level of computer literacy (extensive knowledge of MS Excel, knowledge of HFM/Hyperion is a plus)
  • Team player
  • Self motivated
  • US GAAP/Commercial reporting experience would be a plus
