Responsibilities:
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Provide primary care tailored to the individual needs of children and young people.
- Contribute to creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
- Perform domestic duties to maintain a high standard of living within the home.
- Support children and young people in exploring their interests and making informed choices.
- Plan and organize daily activities, celebrations, and special events.
- Participate in holidays and various physical activities with the children.
- Work directly with children in accordance with individual care plans and strategies.
- Requirements:
- Empathy and understanding towards children and young people.
- Ability to maintain clear boundaries while providing support and guidance.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility in working hours and responsibilities.
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check before commencing work.
Wages:
Entry-level
Support Workers:
£11.44 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
Qualified Level 3 Children and Young People's Practitioners: £12.50 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
Experienced Qualified (3 Year +): £13.62 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
