The children, families, staff and governors of our successful and over-subscribed schools are seeking to appoint an additional Wellbeing Mentor to join both our enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated teams providing Early Help support for our children and community, starting in September 2023.


Both schools aim to meet the children's individual needs, offer them exciting learning opportunities and a chance to develop as an individual in a safe, caring and motivational environment based around our visions of PRIDE and KINDER.

Riddings Infant and Nursery School belongs to the family of Derbyshire Local Authority.

Both schools have worked together over many years to provide the best start in education for our community's children.

The creation of this post is the next step in developing our partnership to ensure that the move between Key Stage 1 and 2 is as successful as possible and that we are supporting families consistently with shared siblings across the schools.

Has an understanding of how best to support the needs of children and their families and is able to demonstrate a proactive approach.

Must be a team player and has a personality that allows them to quickly establish good relationships with everyone.

Has the capacity to grow into the role and shape its' development

35 hours per week term-time and 1 day per week non-term time (42 week contract).
