Job summary:


RAF Menwith Hill is an integral part of the worldwide defence communications network and provides intelligence support for United Kingdom, United States and allied interests.

The Operations and Maintenance department assist this operation with almost 100 employees providing a range of maintenance support.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.


Job description:

This position provides engineering expertise to support work order review and planning. Also developing and maintaining the 5 yearly maintenance events programme on sophisticated systems.


Person specification:


  • Hold a combination of a NVQ Level 3 qualification plus 3 years proven experience in a relevant Engineering field,
- motivated and organised,
- work using own initiative,
- work on own or as part of a team,

  • IT literate, comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel and Access) and current industry standard computer software packages,
  • Experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems would be desirable.

Qualifications:


  • Hold a combination of a NVQ Level 3 qualification plus 3 years proven experience in a relevant Engineering field,
