About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join dynamic teams across schools in Ware.

In this role, you will provide essential support to teachers, helping to deliver effective learning and play a pivotal role in students' educational development.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the delivery of lessons through preparation of teaching materials and classroom organization.
  • Assist with the supervision of students in the classroom and during breaks.
  • Provide individual support to students requiring additional help with their school work.
  • Engage with students to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to promote student welfare and academic success.
  • Assist with the management of any classroom behavioral issues.

Requirements:


  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous, though not strictly required.
  • Educational qualifications such as an NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children and adults alike.
  • A commitment to personal learning and development.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.
