Marketing Coordinator

University of Southampton Science Park

Permanent, full time

Salary:
£22-25k DOE


Our client, the University of Southampton Science Park Ltd, is the South of England's Innovation Hub, offering a wide range of premium commercial offices, laboratories and meeting and conferencing facilities as well as business support programmes.

They manage and develop the commercially run Science Park in line with the enterprise and economic growth agenda of the University of Southampton.


They are now looking for an experienced and self-motivated
Marketing Coordinator who will be responsible for all marketing strategy and comms of the Science Park.


Marketing Coordinator, the role:


  • Engaging Science Park community by improving communications with resident businesses
  • Promoting and coordinating business events at the Science Park
  • Liaising with external partners on design, content materials and assets
  • Managing contacts on social media accounts to grow followers and raise business's profiles
  • Keeping electric screens around the Science Park current and relevant
  • Day to day management of website content

Marketing Coordinator, the applicant:


  • 5 + GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/5 or above, to include both English and Maths
  • CIM qualification (or equivalent) or degree in Marketing beneficial
  • Some experience within marketing or advertising role
  • Proven success in a fast paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter in a business context
  • Hands on experience developing campaigns and promotions
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Package
  • Content development and website design knowledge would be advantageous
