The job itself:

From January 2024, we require an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible staff member with a proven track record and experience across all key stages.


The main duties will be:

  • Support teaching and learning
  • Supporting the class teacher
  • Assisting with the preparation of the learning environment
  • Planning learning activities
  • Assisting with the development of children in English, numeracy, and other aspects of the National Curriculum
  • Lunchtime Supervisor duties include comprehensive supervision of the pupils during lunch break. To promote a safe, happy and secure environment.
  • A proven track record of supporting pupils and teachers in a classbased context
  • Minimum of NVQ2 (or equivalent) and working towards NVQ
  • English and Maths GCSEs A-C
  • Proficient IT skills

The role is offered as 22.5 hours per week, 8.30am - 1pm on a permanent basis.
