Your New Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fixed Term (12 months) Catering Assistant to join our Edinburgh schools account in Forthview Primary School, West Pilton Place, Edinburgh EH4 4DF.

This role is on-site based

The salary is £9.90 per hour

Amey work in partnership with the local council and schools across Edinburgh to deliver facilities management services include cleaning, caretaking and building maintenance.

Catering Assistant - This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to your local community by working in a lively local school, preparing, and providing school meals.

The standard hours of work are 23 Hours Per Week (Shift pattern Monday to Thursday 10am till 2pm)**Work-life balance and flexibility are key for our success. You will be responsible for:

Basic preparation of food and drinks Preparation of vegetables and snacks Simple cooking of food (including the heating and/or reconstitution of convenience foods and vegetables) Transportation and serving of meals (including the packing and unpacking of food into containers) Washing up and clearing away equipment Cash handling Cleaning of the kitchen, its surrounds and the equipment
