The opportunity:
We have a number of
opportunities for Technical Service Operators who will work closely with the EMEA TS, sales, customer service, design and prepress teams to ensure data into the ops team is right the first time.
Based at our Leicester production site, working across the region, we seek technically-minded individuals to support the technological end of the business and enable growth.
support processes that comply with all customers' and Westrock's requirements. In general, the team members will perform duties as directed by their line manager and essentially work withinthe Westrock European preproduction environment, assisting colleagues where needed.
How you will impact WestRock:
Collation of data from customers for new items
Create Master Estimates, Production Estimates and generate item specifications on the Radius system
Perform VWT Order, countercheck - new items In conjunction with the manager, make use of the Westrock-approved NPI process
Control revision levels and item obsolescence on Radius and other systems
Ensure correct costs captured
Where appropriate, make combi decisions and process items for combi print.
Work closely with management to ensure effective internal customer-supplier relationships and teamwork.
Pre-flighting artwork on a technical level
Responsible for ensuring production is to the highest quality standards and adherence to SOP guidelines and customer requirements within the TS team
What you need to succeed:
Minimum of one year's print/packaging related experience and/or relevant print qualification
Be self-motivated, standards-driven, with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work on own initiative
Results-focused
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programmes
