About the role


We are looking for a Logistics Admin Support to join our busy event experience team at London Marathon Events (LME) on a 11 week contract.

This is a fantastic and rare opportunity for an enthusiastic professional looking to begin a career in sports communications and events.


The role will be varied and focused on supporting the LME communications team in the planning and delivery of the 2023 TCS Mini London Marathon (Saturday 22 April), TCS London Marathon (Sunday 23 April) and RideLondon (Friday 26 May to Sunday 28 May).


What you'll be doing

  • Keep on top of Logistics inbox
  • Answer requests coming in from Logistics form/Monday board
  • Book couriers
  • Prepare loading lists
  • Prepare inventory templates
  • Type up inventories
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Coordinate deliveries
  • Chase suppliers for deliveries
  • Arrange for items to be donated or recycled
  • Book in maintenance for warehouse facility (when instructed)
  • Community Events Coordination Internally and with Schools

Skills required

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Databases, Mail Merges, Labels
  • Strong Multitasker

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
