Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handy Man/woman to join our team.
As a Handy person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
You will be working in a vulnerable adult environment and will be required to have a clean DBS check. This is a part-time position with competitive pay.Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Provide excellent customer service to address any maintenance concerns or requests
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Handy Man or Maintenance Technician
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform various repair tasks
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Leadership skills to supervise contractors and coordinate repairs
