To support our frontline clinical teams by covering vacant shifts with bank and agency workers, whilst accurately recording information onto our systems.
You should have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively in a sensitive and confidential manner, as you will be dealing with a wide and interesting variety of queries and enquiries.
Communication and team working are essential, as is the ability to work under your own initiative.The post holder should have excellent IT and organisational skills ideally with experience of working in a fast-paced office environment.
The vacancy have a core focus on providing a full and comprehensive temporary staffing service to the organisation and external clients, covering all aspects of the request and booking process for internal and external temporary staffing needs.
Experience
- Previous experience of working within a Temporary Staffing team
- Previous Administration/data entry experience
- Previous experience of working in an NHS environment and or agency setting
- Working knowledge of E-Rostering System (additional training can be provided)
- Knowledge of NHS Priorities and Issues
- Working knowledge of Bank Staff and ESR systems ( additional training can be provided).
Skills:
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Establish and maintain good working relationships
- Able to work without supervision and use own initiative
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- To be aware and demonstrate the Trust Values
- To be able to travel effectively throughout the Trust
- Maintain confidentiality at all time.

- Ensure that requests for temporary staffing are handled in a timely and effective manner ensuring that appropriate temporary cover is provided, updating managers of progress at regular intervals
- Liaising with agencies on a regular basis, providing clear and concise details of requirements; updating managers of progress at regular intervals
- Working with the wider Temporary Staffing function to ensure that the ESR and E-Rostering system for all temporary staff which includes Clinical, Allied Health Professionals, Ancillary, and Administration Staff are updated efficiently
