Birmingham base, 2 days office.
C£40,000 - £48,000 + brilliant benefits
Our Birmingham based client is currently looking to recruit a HR Shared Services Manager. This is a key role in the organisation where you can really make an impact and drive through improvements.
The role is responsible for leading a team of 6 providing support for c700 employees, this is split into ER, HR Systems, HR Advisory service and HR Admin.
This is a senior role working with the senior management team. You will drive through improvements and develop initiatives to build a HR Centre of Excellence.
You will be able to work in a fast paced environment, lead and develop a team and be creative withideas to improve the service.
HR Manager - Key Responsibilities:
- To manage the day to day performance and service delivery of the HR shared Services team providing a customerfocussed query handling service to all Line Managers and employees, this includes 1st and 2nd line advice.
- Nurture, develop and coach the team ensuring a firstclass delivery to the business
- Responsible for a 3rd party payroll provider who will manage payroll for employees of the business
- Be responsible for maintaining and developing all HR policies and procedures that meet business needs and statutory requirements and HR knowledge is driven through the organisation to develop organisational capability
- To manage projects to transform the way HR Shared Services deliver across the function.
- Monitor the service performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement of service delivery
- Drive through process improvement ensuring a 1st class service to the business
- Managing change projects from a shared services perspective
HR Manager - Key Skills:
- You will have previous experience of working within a HR Shared Service Centre as well as managing change and transformation within this environment
- This is an operational transactional service, you'll love working in a changing fast environment
- Experience of managing projects
- Proven experience of managing a HR team
