Print Operative -Large Format
Role Summary
We are on the lookout for an experienced Large Format Print Operator to join our small but growing charitable (social) enterprise whose aim is to support people poor mental health and with learning difficulties to develop skills that will help them move into paid employment.
You'll work in partnership with our current team and will have significant influence over how the department develops over the coming years.
Your successful track record in the printing and signage industry coupled with your desire to work in an area delivering real social impact will, we hope, mean that you will play a role in building customer relationships.
The more we grow, the more vocational pathway participants we can support.You will have:
- An understanding of the third/social enterprise sector and of what it takes to support people with complex needs, some of whom are in situations of vulnerability.
A good background in large format print, ideally of operating a Roland Versa Camm, Epilog Laser, cold laminator and Coral softwear
Experience of working in partnership with sub-contracted partners to deliver projects

- Setting up and operating printers to print/produce a variety of products ranging from Posters, Signage, Banners, Wall graphics, Vehicle graphics, Foamex boards, Dibond boards, Profile cut vinyl's/stickers and more.
- To ensure maximum machine efficiency while completing orders ontime and in accordance with customers' expectations.
- To operate and maintain RIP and various print production equipment.
- To operate and maintain all large format finishing equipment; Roland Versa Cam, Easymount laminator, informing of equipment problems, placing service calls when required.
- To ensure that all work completed is of the highest possible standard and quality with high degrees of accuracy
- To oversee machinery & equipment used daily and ensure that it is maintained, and kept in clean, good working order
Job Types:
Full-time (37 hours), Permanent, Monday to Friday. Hours to be agreed
Salary:
£26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
depending on experience
