We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Behaviour Support Mentor to join our dynamic team in Hillingdon.

As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted interventions and support to students with behavioral difficulties, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Providing oneonone support to students with behavioral difficulties, implementing strategies to manage and improve their behavior.
  • Collaborating with the SENCO and teaching staff to develop and implement individual behavior plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Monitoring and documenting students' progress, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Building positive relationships with students, families, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children with behavioral difficulties is essential.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and techniques, with the ability to implement and adapt interventions based on individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and establish trust.
  • Resilience, patience, and empathy, with a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
