Join us as a TPRM Operational Risk Lead

  • We'll look to you to lead a global team of Third-Party Risk (TPR) professionals to design an adequate TPR framework across our bank
  • Daytoday, you'll monitor our bank's adherence to this framework and provide our executive boards with the oversight of material risks that're inherent in our supply chain ecosystem
  • As a key member of our executive team, and a valued advisor to the board, you can expect your voice to be heard, your views to be valued and your successes to be rewarded

What you'll do:


As a TPRM Operational Risk Lead, you'll establish a central third-party risk management (TPRM) programme by working with business owners to ensure the effective implementation of the programme.


Alongside this, you'll own a framework of risk assessment due diligence and monitoring that ensures third parties are managed effectively throughout their outsource lifecycle that's based on the risk that their service presents to our bank.


Your top priorities will include:

  • Maintaining a suite of supplier key risk indicators that identify material risks within our supply chain
  • Developing dashboards that provide transparency to business owners and accountable executives about the risks across our supplier base, including service management
  • Evaluating complex outsourcebased regulations to ensure that our outsource framework meets minimum regulatory requirements
  • Providing the oversight and challenge regarding the effective implementation of our bank's outsource framework
  • Offering global leadership for all supply chain service policies that ensure that our material risks are identified and have their key controls established and appetite monitored
  • Leading a global team of TPRM professionals to ensure that the function is suitably equipped with the right skills and experience to deliver TPRM strategies and objectives
  • Acting in line with good corporate governance principles that're mandated by our bank

The skills you'll need:


To be successful in this role, you'll have commercial, TPRM and mitigation experience and a background in a risk leadership position within the financial or services sector.

As well as this, you'll have the ability to match relevant elements to our bank's current and future requirements.


Furthermore, you'll need:

  • A track record of people leadership and delivery within a continuous improvementdriven environment
  • Experience of influencing internally and externally to executive level and evidence of senior regulatory and oversight accountability
  • To be a credible advisor with the ability to build relationships with internal customers and other key stakeholders at executive and board level
  • An understanding of relevant industry and regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of the latest industry TPRM and functional developments and trends
