Location:

  • CB23, Cambourne, Cambridgeshire
  • Salary/Rate:
- £35,000 - £45,000/annum


Cambridge - Systems Administrator - £35k-£40k - Software

Main Duties:


  • Supporting colleagues in-person, by phone, and online
  • Maintaining up to date incidents and activity on the IT ticketing system
  • Purchasing and commissioning IT equipment and software
  • Assisting the department and senior team in maintaining core IT infrastructure
  • Responding to alerts from network and system monitoring tools to minimize downtime

Key skills:


  • Experienced in a support position
  • Advanced knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting Microsoft desktop systems
  • Windows Server deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of managing systems under Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Server Infrastructure services, DNS, DHCP, GPO.

Salary/Location:


  • The salary is circa £35k-£40k for this Cambridge-based permanent role, depending on experience
  • This role is based in Cambridge, but allows for hybrid working on both Monday and Friday
