Merton are seeking to recruit a Family Wellbeing Parenting Practitioner to join our team to deliver a developing and responsive range of parenting programmes and support.

The Family Wellbeing Parenting role is to effectively and confidently facilitate a range of evidence based parenting programmes for families who have multiple and complex needs, with the aim of reducing the full range of risk factors that may lead to developmental delays, statutory social care involvement, high risk behaviour, non-attendance at school for children and other vulnerabilities.

The Practitioner will work to build effective and meaningful relationships with children, families and other agencies, that facilitate high quality interventions and implement a tailored support plan together with the family to meet the identified needs.

The role requires extensive knowledge and skills in best practice in this field of work, and requires effective and direct close working with children, young people and adults (aged 0-25) and their families / key support networks.

Providing advice, guidance and practical support that is impactful and long term and underpinned by evidenced based practice and research.
