Citizens Advice New Forest is proud to be recruiting for a project focusing on Debt Advice, funded by the National Lottery.

As a Debt Advisor with us, you'll be at the forefront of this initiative, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality debt advice to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide practical, highquality debt advice to clients, helping them gain control of their finances.
Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalised action plans and provide ongoing support as needed.
Advocate for clients' needs and ensure they have access to relevant resources and support services.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress towards financial goals.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously with great attention to detail.
A commitment to upholding professional ethics and confidentiality standards.
Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in providing advice to a caseload of clients, debt advice or financial counselling is desirable but not essential.
Must be commutable to the office in Basingstoke.
