The Role

We are searching for a Product Marketing Assistant, reporting to the European Product Manager.

The role is primarily responsible for aiding the Product Manager with the development and launch of new products, within the Workplace Health Division, on behalf of the European business, to achieve budgeted shipment and EBITDA goals, in support of the companys vision and strategy.

In This Role

  • Responsible for supporting the European Product Manager for the Workplace Health Division with the development of new products from ideation to launch, in order to deliver the businesss teams objectives.
  • Aid the European Product Manager with annual product reviews, life cycle analysis and competitor/market research in order to justify and help create the European New Product Development (NPD) roadmap.
  • Responsible for the population and maintenance of the Product Data Management system (PDM) and managing the Fellowes website content across Europe for the Division.
  • Manage the certifications and renewals process for the Division with relevant external agencies.
  • Act as the Workspace Health Division point of contact for product queries with internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with preparation of key product/range presentations and launch documents, as required by the European Product Manager and rest of the Business Team.
  • Assist in the creation and development of documents and materials (for example, sell sheets) to help with sales and marketing efforts, in conjunction with the Channel Development Specialist and Head of European Marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to create commercial advantage and deliver the required changes.
  • Work closely with the countries to ensure that activities/projects are delivered, communicated, and implemented appropriately.
  • Assist the Division with the arranging and delivery of photoshoots and events.
  • Update professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Actively work towards the overall company objectives as detailed in the Global Vision Statement, other polices and external certification such as ISO9001, Investors in People, health & safety and environmental requirements.
  • Work in collaboration with the other Fellowes employees to ensure continuous improvement and effective business decision making through such vehicles as Fellowes Way
What You Bring to the Team

  • Ideally 12 years experience working in a similar product / product marketing role.
  • Experience of working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Strong organisational / project management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to share information with the teams concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy even when working on multiple large projects.
  • Able to work in a fastpaced, agile team environment.
  • Numerate and analytical ability.
  • Marketing / Product or businessrelated qualifications are advantageous.
  • Languages/multicultural experience is advantageous
