We would welcome applicants from newly qualified nurses or students due to qualify in the near future who are passionate about recovery, person centred in their approaches and driven to be part of a close working team.

You will be supported in your clinical work, and professional development, by an experienced Mental Health Nurse, and with ongoing close & supportive supervision from the Team Leader together with an agreed programme of training and development.

Employment in this post requires a Standard/Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

The DBS levies a charge of £23/£40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

Applicants who subscribes to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.


The post holder will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary team, this team is made up of a Psychiatrist, Nurse prescriber, Nurses, Social Workers, OT's and Support Time Recovery Workers with further support of Admin and Psychologist.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, committed, dynamic, and a motivated professional with excellent communication, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.

A good level of IT literacy is an essential requirement.

The team is based in Blandford and covers the surrounding villages.

The post holder will need to have a valid driving licence and use of a car as they will be required to assess and monitor patients in their own homes and within other community settings.
