Directors of the Entrepreneurship Lab
Responsibility:
To provide support to the Directors of the Entrepreneurship Lab to run the King's Entrepreneurship Lab - an innovative set of activities at the core of King's College aimed at building entrepreneurship acumen.
The E-Lab Coordinator would play a pivotal role in the team and support a range of activities - the administration of the residential programme (a one week programme for students), organise the monthly speaker series, organise the visits for the Entrepreneurs in Residence as well as visitors to the Lab, liaise between students and mentors.
The team of the lab includes two directors who are also faculty members at the Judge Business School in addition to their activities at King's College, and a small number of Lab Associates who volunteer their time.
Salary:
£35,530 per annum dependent upon experience
Contract type:
Fixed-term (6 months initially, but this may be extended or become permanent), full time, 37.5 hours per week to be worked Monday - Friday with some evening and weekend work possible

Today King's is also home to the King's Entrepreneurship Lab, a new initiative in the heart of Cambridge devoted to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and a community of aspiring innovators.
With an emphasis on developing sustainable and ethical projects with a positive social and environmental impact, the King's Entrepreneurship Lab includes a set of activities turned towards both King's students, and outside the college, tapping into the collegiate University and the Silicon Fen.
- Good office skills, including computer keyboard skills (Level 2 for Word and Excel, familiarity with databases and the internet)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to record and manage funds for our graduate students via spreadsheets
- The ability to work with and support others in a collaborative manner
- The ability to be patient, tactful and diplomatic across a variety of stakeholders
- The ability to make decisions on own initiative and to work with mínimal supervision
- The ability to work as a team and collaboratively with the E-Lab team (Directors, Lab Associates) and other stakeholders in college such as the Senior Tutor, Bursar, Catering)
- The ability to cope with a varied and demanding workload and to meet deadlines
- The ability to be organised and work systematically and accurately
Other Details:
- Lunch on duty
- 32 days paid holiday per annum pro rata (including Bank Holidays)
