Ocean Infinity is seeking a
Communications Specialist to join the small and dynamic Marketing and Communications team.

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, the Communications Specialist will be responsible for delivering the internal communications strategy.

This is a new role with the opportunity to shape the internal communications function and have a real impact on the success of the company communications strategy.

This is a group-level role which will work across the entire business. This role will primarily cover internal communications but there will be opportunity to work on external projects.

What will you do:


  • Contribute to the development and own the execution of the internal communications strategy in alignment with the strategic vision of the business;
  • Own the internal communications calendar to ensure a regular drumbeat of content;
  • Develop, maintain and write informative/static content on the company intranet;
  • Work with the People and Culture team to deliver employee engagement initiatives such as internal events and company updates;
  • Work with the Integration team to deliver communications associated with business transformation projects;
  • Provide copywriting support for external communications where required e.g. for social media, website and blog content;
  • Support the Head of Brand and Communications to monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, and make recommendations for continuous improvement;
  • Support the Marketing and Communications department with providing guidance and support to leaders and managers on effective communication practices;
  • Contribute to the delivery of Marketing and Communications monthly KPI targets.

Who you are:


  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role;
  • An excellent writer able to produce professional, interesting and onmessage content;
  • Strong storytelling abilities, with the knack for turning complex information into clear and compelling messages;
  • Proficient in utilizing various internal communication channels and tools;
  • A strategic thinker able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's purpose;
  • Able to build strong relationships and networks with colleagues;
  • Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious with a strong eye for detail;
  • Able to take ownership and engagement in the work;
  • Reliable, credible and trustworthy;
  • Excellent time manager and able to prioritize work in a fastpaced environment;
  • A strong communicator;
  • Driven and proactive with a cando attitude;
  • A critical thinker and able to show initiative;
  • Able to work well in a team and independently;
  • Fluent in English Language.

Desirable:


  • Experience in change management communication;
  • Familiarity with employee engagement strategies and measurement techniques;
  • Previous experience in a fastpaced highgrowth company;
  • Previous experience in a technology business ;
  • A Business or Communications degree or equivalent ;
  • CIM or CIPR qualification.
