An opportunity has arose to be part of the Freeman Catering Department, we have a Nightshift Catering Assistant post working in the Freeman restaurant between the hours of 10pm and 2am, serving the hospital nightshift workers, Hot and Cold food, snacks and drinks.

This role will involve cash handling and operating an electronic cash register.

You will work 3 shifts one week and then 4 shifts the following week on a rolling basis, averaging 14 hours per week over the month.

Interview Date: 16 June 2023

The main duties include

  • Setting up the servery with the hot food ready for service.
  • Serving the customers with hot and cold food, homemade sandwiches, snacks and drinks.
  • Cash handling and cashing up.
  • Replenishing stock.
  • Cleaning of the service area.
  • Locking up and securing the area after service.
