We are excited to share our search for a motivated
Payroll Specialist to support across our JBT UK businesses.
Reporting to the Senior HRIS Analyst this position is the link between the payroll bureau and our manufacturing sites, ensuring the efficient and effective processing of payroll, time & attendance and employee benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly payroll, including processing all payroll changes across all JBT sites
- Processing statutory notifications & statutory payments
- Prepare monthly and adhoc payroll reports
- Respond and resolve payroll and benefits queries
- Identify and implement continuous improvement across the payroll and reward
- Preparation of all tax documentation, e.g. P60's & P11D's etc.
- Pension administration including auto enrolment pension scheme, across all sites
- Pension knowledge including reconciling monthly deductions/payments
- Administration of all data within the Pension systems including employee changes/contributions
- Administration of salary sacrifice arrangements
- Administration of wider employee benefit portfolio
- Continuous improvement round the wider employee benefit offering and processes
- Administration and management of the HRIS systems (Ultimate Pro, Moorepay & Oracle)
Qualifications:
Experience & Qualifications
- CIPP Qualified (desirable but not essential.) / Extensive Payroll knowledge.
- Familiarity with payroll software systems to efficiently manage payroll data, process transactions, and generate reports.
- A thorough understanding of payroll regulations, taxes, and PAYE procedures.
- Strong mathematical skills and an attention to detail for highlevel data accuracy.
- Proficiency in maintaining organised payroll records and documents for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening to accurately answer queries.
- Skilled at identifying potential payroll discrepancies and addressing them proactively.
- Good use of Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets, records, and reports, as well as knowledge and use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Customeroriented mindset to provide exceptional support to employees with their payroll enquiries and concerns.
