Red Team Lead


Red Team Lead is needed for a greenfield Cyber Security team within an award winning fintech who are scaling the business and bringing their Red Team in house.

This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a Red Team Lead / Red Team Manager to join our client and build an offensive Red Team, putting in place structures and procedures and having oversight of Cyber Security tools.


The Red Team will be responsible for leading simulated adversarial operations against the selected targets, developing methodology and Cyber Infrastructure for ongoing red teaming operations.


Key requirements:

  • Experienced Red Teamer
  • Management or Team Lead within a Red Team
  • Cyber Security certifications ranging from CSSAS, CSSAM, OSCP, OSCE, CRT, CCT, or similar
  • Worked in a Regulated Financial organisation ideal FCA regulated
  • Experience of Open Source and other C2 frameworks such as Mythic, Koadic, Merlin, Metasploit, Sillenttrinity or Cobaltstrike.
  • Software Engineering experience in Java, Kotlin, Go, C# etc.
  • Ability to pick up new tools and development languages
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


There is an opportunity to not only build a team around you but to also put in functions, tools and operational excellence into the Red Team.

You will build a best in the business team that are proactive and experts in their field. Running Red Team operations and company events across Cyber Security, the wider Engineering teams and the business.

This role would be Hybrid working but there is a lot scope to work remotely. The business is grown up and staff go in to the office to meet and get things done, not be in the office a set amount of time just to keep the lights on
