Warrens are the primary distributor for many well know FMCG customers and have a tremendousindustry reputation for its dedication towards its services.


Our brand new Crick site are now recruiting for a number of Stock & Systems Supervisors on a full time basis.


Salary
:
£29,017.50 per annum + £1,325 night shift allowance

Working hours
:4 on 4 off - Days 06:00-18:00 or Nights 18:00-06:00


The purpose of a Stock and Systems Supervisor includes providing day to day support to the Stock and Systems Manager.

Responsible for the motivation, management and development of Stock & Systems Administrators and Stock Controllers.

Key Duties of a Stock & Systems Supervisor:

  • Be company lead for overall stock accuracy and all procedures relating to stock movements, stock receipts, stock removal and system alignment
  • Lead, organise, supervise, and deliver all company and customer audits throughout the year from start to completion as required
  • Report to customers and internal departments on regular basis with updates on stock levels and queries as required
  • Undertake weekly stock reviews to identify aged, obsolete, and redundant stock
  • Share findings with relevant departments to gain approval and dispose
  • Responsible for ensuring sufficient space is available for parts storage through consolidation of stock and stock disposal processes
  • Report to management and relevant departments on stock levels, issues and risks as required
  • Investigate stock losses, identify root cause, and implement new processes to avoid future issues
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business objectives and plans are delivered successfully and on time
  • Manage, lead and direct the daily operations of your teams. Ensure team members understand and are equipped to undertake their roles to the best of their ability
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the achievement and maintenance of agreed customer service levels and standards
  • Maintain agreed KPI's and report on performance and potential improvements

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in supervising or team leading is required
  • Considerable experience working in FMCG and customer facing environment
  • Able to demonstrate an indepth knowledge of WMS systems
  • A detailed understanding of predespatch operations to be able to manage and advise others
  • Passion for delivery of excellent customer service within an ever growing business.
  • Good written and verbal communications, be able to adapt the communication style to meet different situations and personalities
  • Coach, train and motivate team members, be able to influence and steer to produce high end results.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage performance objectives through one to ones and staff appraisals
  • A creative approach to problem solving and managing a team
