Velocity UK are urgently looking for an experienced FLT operative to work in the stores area of our client's busy engineering works.

The client is based in Newcastle and it is a friendly environment.

Main Duties will include:
Moving, storing and recording of stock.

Checking and taking deliveries
Ensuring that materials are segregated appropriately and can be easily found and identified.
Bring components to the engineering teams.
Check stock on a regular basis and correct quantities
Ensure the security of the site and of goods leaving or entering the site.

Any other related duties to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:

Counterbalance Forklift truck licence
Operatives must be hard-working, diligent and dextrous
Experience of working in an engineering environment is useful.
Great attitude to work is essential
Must be a good team worker.

Hours of work are 07:
Mon to Thurs, 07.30 to 14.00 Fri.
