Description
The Department of Biology is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant for 1 year. This post is financially supported by the funds from the Royal Society awarded to Dr Jani Bolla.

The work is to be conducted in his lab in the Department Biology, University of Oxford, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3RB.

The postholder will support ongoing research that aims to unravel the molecular architecture of the TOC complex using structural tools.


The role of the individual will be as follows: (i) to be responsible for the generation and maintenance of various transgenic plant lines; (ii) to grow a large number of plants and extract proteins from isolated chloroplasts; (iii) to perform mass spectrometry analysis and probe protein-protein interactions.
