    Job Title:

    Housing Caseworker - Resilience Team

    About the Role:

    The Homeless Casework Service aims to assist individuals who are homeless or living in temporary accommodation to secure suitable and sustainable housing. As a member of the Resilience Team, you will work collaboratively with partners to move households into suitable housing and improve housing sustainment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to homeless applicants and key partners.
    • Deliver specialist homelessness casework to survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring compliance with national, regional, and local legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance outcomes for domestic abuse survivors with housing needs.
    • Contribute to the dissemination and embedding of safeguarding best practice across the Housing Advisory Service.
    • Support the development of the Resilience Team and wider Housing Advisory Service.

    Requirements:

    • Experience working with housing associations or councils.
    • Significant expertise in providing specialist homelessness casework to complex cases, including survivors of domestic abuse.
    • A deep understanding of welfare, homelessness, and housing policy, strategies, legislation, and case law.

    Contract Details:

    Initial 3-6 month contract with potential extension. Hybrid working arrangement, with one day in the office or as required. PAYE via Umbrella.
