Cyber Security Lead/Lead Engineer - Permanent - £70,000 to £80,000
We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Cyber Security Engineer to join a global retail company.

You will play a key role in supporting, designing and developing tooling that ensures they are protected against cyber security threats.

Supporting new projects & initiatives, this role will encompass both security engineering as well as maintaining & enhancingtheir current security controls.

Travel to London will be needed 1 day a week.

What you will be doing:

Develop and implement Security controls
Maintain a healthy ingestion of logging events into the SIEM and develop and tune other tool sets.
Work alongside the architecture functions to ensure new projects are delivered in a secure manner.
Perform threat modelling to mitigate the most important attack vectors against their infrastructure.
Manage endpoint security and endpoint detection
Identify and develop appropriate reporting methods to evaluate the effectiveness of system changes.

What they are looking for:

Previous Security Engineering experience and has worked with tools such as (Duo, Forcepoint, Fortiproxy, Mimecast, Sophos)
Experience of O365 security
Has a good understanding of threat and vulnerability management
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
A security certification such as Security +, CEH, CISSP, CISM would be preferred but is not essential
