Description
Bookkeeping Duties

  • Processing and entering invoices, orders, travel claims, receipts, journals and other financial records onto the Sage 50 Accounting system in a timely and effective manner
  • Preparation and processing of income receipts and payments to suppliers and staff in a timely manner
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements on a regular basis and dealing effectively with queries
  • Maintenance and checking of petty cash records Maintain files in a tidy and consistent manner whether paper or electronic
  • Dealing with routine finance queries for example from clients to external bodies
  • Producing financial reports and other records using the appropriate systems
  • Completing bank and credit card account reconciliations on Sage 50.
  • Payroll postings processing monthly salary journals
  • Monthly reconciliation of pension, net wages, salary deduction and PAYE balance sheet accounts.
Client Payroll Coordination

  • Coordinate payroll data from clients on a monthly basis.
  • Liaising closely with clients to gather payroll information to pass to outsourced payroll provider.
  • Be a point of contact for payroll queries and ensure all payroll queries are resolved for timely submission of payroll documents to payroll provider
  • Obtain final approval from clients for their monthly payroll, supply clients with final reports and file onto Viable system

Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

  • Belfast: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Sage 50: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
