Description
The National Operations Service Clinical Directorwill be responsible for: Liaison with other organisations i.e., NHSE, Cancer Alliance Forums. Ensure that effective business planning is in place. Collect performance data as per the National requirements. Monitor the performance of the Pilot against national Standards.

Make sure that each component part of the Pilot meets national and local standards. Clinical oversight of the effective management of the referral system. Ensure that appropriate measures are taken including running failsafe procedures to ensure that all eligible persons are screened.

Undertake appraisal of colleagues and team-based job planning Developing functional working arrangements with other clinical leads and teams to improve service deliver Co-ordinate 'safe care' programme for the clinical team.


Ensure an appropriate teaching and training environment exists within the clinical team, including clinical and educational supervison Assist with delivery of pilot object To attend both local and national meetings supporting the delivery of the NOS.
