Trade counter / Internal Sales

The Role:

Working within our Trade Counter you will responsible for serving our customers and building strong relationships to generate sales. Whatever our customers need, whenever they need it, you will ensure they can.

Dealing with Joiners, builders, glaziers at both our busy trade counter and via telephone providing product advice to customers, dealing with customer quotes and queries, liaising with drivers regarding deliveries and actively seeking sales through customer contacts.

Involves Cash Handling, Knowledge of Excel & Word

Some warehouse duties, which would include stock handling, fork truck licence advantageous
Driving licence essential as could involve some driving
Can involve heavy lifting

The Person:

Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role. You should be comfortable in dealing with members of the public and enjoy building relationships with customers. Product knowledge and sales experience would be an advantage although product training will be given.
