Roots to Wings has a fantastic opportunity to become part of our staff team as a Supply/ Bank Staff on a flexible 'as and when required' basis.
We are looking for motivated Nursery Assistant / Nursery Nurse with any childcare qualification to cover staff holidays, sickness etc and assist the practitioners in the day to day smooth running of the setting.
Your duties could include:
- Observe and monitor children's play.
- Help setting out activities or tidying up
- Serving food, water or snacks
- Kitchen duties
- Supervising and engaging in outdoor play
- Providing 1on1 supervision
- And other assistive duties
- Level 2, 3 or above in childcare
- Good spoken and written English
- Punctual
- Reliable
- Approachable
- Enthusiastic and engaging with children
Job Type:
Zero hours contract
Salary:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wymondham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- QTS (preferred)
