Position Summary

Reporting to the Brands Packaging Manager, the key focus of the role is to manage minor packaging changes and smaller projects across all Brands.

The role involves the creation of new packaging for specific Markets where Mandatory or minor changes are requested via our Electronic Packaging Change Request (EPCR) process as well as managing the creation of personalised packaging within our Single Cask and Annual Release programs.

This role will provide administrative support on completion and delivery of Product Packaging Data for markets that are requesting Environmental Packaging Data.

The role will also provide support for the introduction and administration of a new bespoke packaging artwork approval system.
Job Description

  • Supporting and managing the delivery of over 100 Packaging change requests that include both Market change requests and Single Cask personalisation requests.
  • Engaging with suppliers on Packaging change requests to provide accurate feedback to relevant parties in respect to pack change introduction dates.
  • Developing all packaging components, working with the data team, purchasing and suppliers accordingly.
  • Ensuring that new components developed are approved in a timely manner and updated into the Technical Library.
  • Providing data, error free, for all bills of materials.
  • Working with Production and Quality to optimise material design where Packaging Changes are required.
  • Keep abreast of Market Mandatory changes and latest environmental labelling information through close collaboration with the Compliance & Sustainability Technologist.
  • Become competent in the administration across the team of the Webcentre artwork approval system.
  • Support requests to provide data and information on existing and new packaging requests from the Markets.
  • Support the Packaging Technologists on Major NPD projects to develop your skills and to ensure new NPD projects are delivered on time.
  • Complete & deliver all environmental data requests from individual markets, i.e. Maxxium NL, Singapore, Travel Retail, as they have to report to the local in Market Authorities.
