Description

Electrical Maintenance Technician

Temp and Perm
Location: Russell Square London

- £24per hour via umbrella

38 hours per week, overtime available

To carry out the planned and reactive repairs to various plant equipment. Additionally the technician will be expected to assist other trades as directed by the operations supervisor.

Provide general electrical building services maintenance support on all buildings and plant.
Implement all electrical maintenance and corrective works on the site in accordance with Maintenance Instructions, company and site specific procedures.
Perform testing and inspecting of electrical systems in accordance with industry standards.
Provide accurate feedback and information including but not limited to completed test sheets, routine rounds inspection sheets and work dockets containing durations of maintenance activities and observations.
Ensure that all plant and systems are maintained and operated in order to provide maximum efficiency, availability and reliability.
Carry out remedial and/or refurbishment works arising from breakdown or maintenance inspections.
Carry out required minor installation work as required

Relevant work experience includes but is not limited to;

Lighting & Emergency lighting
Motors
Single & three phase power
Fire alarms
General maintenance
BMS operation
Access control

Skills Required:

With at least 5 years working within building services maintaining electrical systems
Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
