We are looking for a
Product Designer tojoin our growing R & D team.


Why is this role important?


This exciting new role will take our company goals, solution requirements and any technical limitations and combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.

You will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into user stories, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, and mock-ups.

You will also design the overall functionality of the solution, and ensure a great user experience.

You will be responsible for contributing to and adhering to the design language and visual identity of our suite of Products as well as contributing to the other UK-based products in the ELMO UK Group.


How a day might look like for you:

  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, and mock-ups.
  • Facilitate solutions vision by researching, conceiving, sketching that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Design for a wide range of accessibility needs, devices and interfaces.
  • Production of visual assets including wireframes, high resolution designs, graphics and experience flows
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
  • Ensure that strategic decisions and userexperience decisions are related to the core, new, functions and features of company solutions.
  • Facilitate user research, interviews, polls, surveys, prototyping and other data gathering techniques.
  • Facilitate planning and ideation sessions actively promoting strong team collaboration on solutions
  • Encourage participation from development team members in Customer research activities.
  • Support lean development practices that support rapid iterative development and MVP thinking.
  • Support and contribute to a collaborative Scrum environment including values of courage, focus, commitment, respect, and openness.
  • Support the ontime delivery of business and client outcomes.
  • Use quantitative data to support qualitative research and to provide timely feedback loops on outcomes.
  • Contribute to and adhere to, product visual identity and interaction language.
  • Communicate design ideas to Software Engineers.
  • Keeping up to date with competitor solutions and industry trends.
  • Define short term and longterm strategy for user experience improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Information Security and privacy policies and procedures.

What we value for this role:

  • Strong experience of working in a previous Product Designer role
  • Strong experience of working within a SAAS agile product team
  • Demonstrated work experience of agile methodologies including Scrum. Kanban
  • Proficiency with a variety of agile project management tooling (e.g. JIRA, Kanban tools)
  • Good persuasion, influencing, presenting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data
  • Strong communication skills in both technical and nontechnical scenarios
  • Strong commercial acumen including numeracy
  • Ability to write welldefined User Stories/Use Cases and acceptance criteria
  • Excellent decision making and problem solving skills

Salary:
£47,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
