We sell various Timber, Building & plumbing materials


Job description


We are looking for an individual who can work as part of a small team responsible for the sale and purchase of timber, building & plumbing products.

If you enjoy helping customers and are looking for a move this could be for you, especially if you have a positive 'can do' attitude and don't mind 'jumping in at the deep end'


The successful applicant will need to be friendly, confident and able to develop positive customer relationships with both our trade & retail customers.


Experience of working in the industry or in a professional sales environment dealing with a range of customers and having product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.


Duties will involve:

  • Communicating with suppliers & customers to develop new sales opportunities,
  • Serving at sales counter,
  • Sage Accounts package data entry (cahnging system in 2023)
  • Monitoring of stock levels and raising of purchase orders where appropriate,
  • Maintaining showroom stock levels ensuring racks/shelves are stocked
  • Loading Customers when required
Mon - Fri 7.30 to 5pm & Sat pm (alternate)


Job Type:
Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£9.00-£10.00 per hour
