COMPANY PROFILE

Our client in St Albans are looking to expand their team and are eagerly looking to hire a Software Tester to join their office.

Supporting companies within the Finance sector for over twenty years they boast a list of well-known clients.

If you have experience in IT and are interested in pursuing a career within testing for a well-established business, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous experience in IT
• Understanding of software development
• Strong attention to detail
• Driven individual with willingness to learn
• Experience in or knowledge of Financial Services products would be beneficial

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deal with quality assurance for software development.
• Conduct manual testing to ensure the software is fit for purpose, matches requirements and is free from any issues.
• Work with business user to agree the scope of testing, to develop testing scripts and procedures to validate all processes.
• Sending test evidence to users for approval
• Raising, recording & tracking defects through to resolution
• Ensure testing quality control & that all work is carried out to defined standards
• Keep testing logs up to date and carry out bug fixes and helpdesk tasks.
