Exeter

Monday - Friday 9am - 5:15pm

Previous experience of working in a compliance role and/or professional services environment is an advantage. You will also have good IT and typing skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.


The Role:


By assisting the team in a support administration position, you will work as an administration assistant supporting our clients' practise support team and delivering an effective and efficient service.

You will be responsible for a wide range of administrativeduties, including, but not limited to:


  • Encouraging and supporting the implementation of best practice and professional compliance by legal teams and their members across the firm;
  • Monitoring compliance with antimoney laundering procedures and assisting fee earners and support staff to implement these procedures;
  • Monitoring compliance with file review procedures and assisting fee earners and support staff to implement these procedures;
  • Providing support with new client takeon procedures and due diligence;
  • Assisting with data collection and report management;
  • Auditing files to ensure compliance checks have been carried out and that they comply with the firm's policies;
  • Maintaining and updating records;
  • Assisting with the resolution of other practical file management problems such as inactive files or unbilled disbursements;
  • Assisting with the maintenance of, and the development of content for, the team's intranet page.
  • Highly organised, enthusiastic with developed critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • IT and typing skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook


Adaptability and flexibility are key, as you will be required to have a hands-on, proactive approach to daily administrative tasks within the team.

Previous experience of working in a compliance role and/or professional services environment is an advantage.
