Description

Responsibilities;
To monitor all relevant QCP's within the department and carry out corrective actions which include, but not inclusive to:

Understanding the workings of the machine you are operating.
Learn how to strip, set and assemble the machine where required.
To identify any faults and report them to the Shift Manager.
To understand what is expected from you and the machine.
The priority is to ensure all daily production figures are met.
Clear communication with the Shift Manager passing on the relevant information.
The cleaning of the machine and adopt a clean as you go policy.
In conjunction with your Shift Manager, identify any selfdevelopment/ training needs.
To provide short term cover and support for the department during holidays.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed at the correct time and signed off accordingly,

- temperature checks, start-up checks, weight checks, and verification of batch details.

Monitor and maintain all materials used within the department.
Filling out of job sheets all in line with production SOP's.
Recording of waste.
Line runs are effective as possible, and quality is maintained.
Ensure the clean as you go policy is always adhered to.
Report any near miss/accidents, so the correct paperwork can be completed, and any corrective actions taken.
