Role Overview:


As a Children's Residential Night Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children aged 10 to 18 with diverse needs, including autism and non-verbal communication.

Working closely with a dedicated team, you'll provide overnight support and assistance, helping to create a secure and nurturing environment where children can flourish.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with daytime staff to facilitate smooth transitions and handovers
  • Assist children with bedtime routines and ensure they are settled for the night
  • Respond promptly to any nighttime needs or emergencies
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in communal areas
  • Maintain accurate records of care plans and incidents
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in your care
  • Prepare for morning handovers and provide updates as needed
