Description Overview:


To supervise the Operations Services engineer(s) and contract staff in the maintenance, installation and improvement of buildings services and systems.

The role also provides SME technical support to capital projects for the introduction of new facilities builds.

To supervise and maintain a high standard of cleaning in all areas of site through the staff across all shifts.

Manage the provision of staff lockers, clean work wear & purchasing of new work wear.
Manage the day to day running of Security, supporting the Operations Services Manager with the development of the services provision within the security team


Scope of the Role:


  • Create, plan, issue and manage all day to day SAP Minor Works allocations to Operations Services Engineers and maintenance contractors to ensure timely completion ensuring conformance to departmental KPI's

All site buildings and grounds.)

  • SME technical lead in the design and implementation of facility builds supporting the Project Manager. Works closely with the Facilities Manager to provide technical support across the full facility buildings and equipment requirements.
  • Organises and generates relevant data and prepares project cost estimates, economic justifications, procures contract services and supports validation through to operational handover.
  • Support the site with QE, CAPA, Change Control and Gensuite actions through to timely completion.
  • Manage the administration of the team,
  • Cleaners task allocation of duties ensuring quality and hygiene standards are maintained through routine inspections and improvement training where required.
  • Coordination of the work wear laundry, order/replenishment and locker allocation.
  • Manage the day to day running of Security including the C-Cure door entry system.
  • Work with the Operations Services Manager and the Global security team to improve working practices and service provision from the site security
  • Ensuring correct design specification is defined for building facility capital projects.
  • Responsible for raising and administration of several contracted /rental services.
  • Flexibility of working hours to accommodate visits to weekend cleaning team & security guards.
  • To undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time in order to support the Perrigo business.

Experience Required:


  • Minimum two years in buildings facilities services supervision
  • Must be an effective communicator.
  • Minimum education to GCSE level including Mathematics and English.
  • Engineering Qualification or completed apprenticeship would be an advantage
