We are pleased to be able to offer 12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity in the peer support development team as aPeer Support Lead.
There is a possibility that this could be extended.We can offer training, support and professional development opportunities.
This role covers all of our trust so independent travelling is required.
- Supporting the completion of the accreditation process for the PSW training
- Delivery of our inhouse PSW training including assessing students
- Providing support and supervision for new starters
- Providing ongoing CPD events, refresher training and professional development for all PSWs
- Providing teams with individual team prep sessions for teams who are new to peer support
- collaborating with care groups to identify new opportunities for peer support
- work with colleagues and senior managers to create a career pathway and support structures for our peer support workforce
- Work and support PSWs and team managers, as required, to ensure the role embeds effectively and is valued
- Be an ambassador/champion for recovery and advocate for peer support.
