An established global architectural firm is currently looking to recruit an experienced, proactive, well-organised IT Systems Administrator to maintain business-critical IT systems.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Engineer, implement, monitor, and maintain IT systems, including server administration, security permissions, group policies etc
  • Monitor resources and ensure systems work seamlessly using management tools and carry out root cause analysis to identify and correct issues as they arise
  • Perform system audits to ensure the effective running and adequate baseline levels of patching and security
  • Collaborate with both local and global digital practice teams ensuring that the systems are effective in helping the business achieve its goals
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team and guide the junior members of the group in improving their skills and developing their confidence
  • Write and maintain documentation for Infrastructure Technology

Key qualifications:


  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Be comfortable working with global teams across multiple timezones and cultures
  • Strong working knowledge of a Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 and above, Physical servers and their components, virtualisation technology such as VMWare ESXi and VDI/DaaS
  • Strong understanding of networking skills such as TCP/IP, LAN and WAN
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks
